What a fun sister friend you were. Mike & I enjoyed playing games, dining out and spending time with you and Dave. Your laugh was so infectious and your joy bubbled over, making every meeting special. Only once, did I get to watch you and Dave dance, but I loved hearing about your travels and seeing your special attire. Your love for family was priority and I know you will be greatly missed. I lost touch with you and Dave several years ago, but was reminded of great times when I'd catch car club pics on FaceBook. You and he had the BEST cars! Fly High my friend. You lived an awesome life.

Loretta is my first cousin on my daddy’s side of the family.
There were 4 girl cousins in the Meyer Family. We were all close in age & 3 of us lived in Norman. Loretta (oldest)is the daughter of Laura Mae, Yvonne is the daughter of Al & Mary Meyer, Judy is the daughter of James & Claire Meyer. Patty is the daughter of Betty (Meyer) Tigart in Amarillo TX.
The 4 of us were VERY close as we grew up. The Norman cousins were all at Norman High School at the same time 1996-1969.
We spent the night at each other’s homes & did what girls do - giggle, fuss, played, rode Judy’s horses, made mud pies…..
We had fun together & grew up to celebrate each other’s life changes.
Of course, real life takes over with jobs, children & life’s realities. While that meant we didn’t see each other as often - we usually met & caught up at family events. Meyer Reunions, weddings, funerals & special family gatherings.
Loretta was pretty, smart, fun & fiercely dedicated to her immediate family. Every time I talked to her she told me about her grandsons in Norman. And of course for several years on Facebook.
Her last years were not fun so good due to her illness BUT now she is healed. I believe someday, we will be together again in Heaven.
May God bless her family, grandsons & husband that loved her & took care of her during these last years.

Loretta Mae Logan-Sause passed away August 2, 2026 in Norman, Oklahoma at age 76.
Loretta was born April 30, 1950 in Norman, Oklahoma to parents Laura and
Bill Henning. While that union did not remain, Laura married Mel Hames
who raised Loretta as his own. she attended school and graduated from
Norman High School. Loretta marrried Larrry Ogan and from that union
was blessed with two daughters Kimberly Suzanne and Tabetha Lorraine.
Loretta fund great purpose in being a mother to her daughters and was born
to be Gigi to her grandkids. Loretta was a colletor of things. She Just loved
stuff whether it was clothes, jewelty, or decor she had to have ten of
everything.
Loretta square danced, she painted, enjoyed line dancing and taught
country dancing. She had a love for animals with a special interest in horses.
Loretta
married Dave Sause July 12, 1986 in Norman, Oklahoma at Riverside
Church. They
enjoyed square dancing, the Corvett Club, and traveling all over to enjoy
eating at
resaurants. They traveled the world taking cruises and enjoyed many road
trips.
Loretta is survived by her husband Dave Sause; daughter Tabetha Aragona
and husband Steve; grandchildred Parker and Emma Ellis and Aden,
Tucker, and Mac Aragona; dad Mel Hames and wife Tonda; brother Curtis
Hames and wife Theresa; sister Cindy Young, and husband Ray; brother
Bill Henning Jr.; Brother Mike Henning; along with many nieces, nephews,
cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
Loretta is preceeded in death by her father Bill Henning; mother Laura
Hames; and brother Timothy Hames.
