Jerri Henke Ashcraft

It is with great sadness that we express to you that our mom passed away peacefully this morning. Jerilene "Jerri" Ashcraft age 73, passed away in Garland, Texas on January 31, 2025. She was born on July 17, 1951, in Dodge City, Kansas. In 1973, she married Steven P. Ashcraft and moved to Dallas. When she felt well, Jerri had a sweet demeanor. Her laugh was infectious and she wasn't afraid to laugh at her self. She was very strong willed. Her days were enjoyed working in her back yard and watcing birds, listening to classic rock as well as her children's music with them. She also loved watching OU football and got extemely passionate on the big plays. She was loved by friends, neighbors and anyone she came across. She is preceded in death by her mother, Doris B. Henke; dad PecK Henke; sister, Jackie Houck; nephew, Eric Houck and brother-in-law, Ralph Houck. Jerri is survived by her daughter, Amanda Ashcraft; son, Patrick Jeremy Ashcraft; grandson, Skyler B. Miller; sister, Monta Jo Lucas (Rudy) and Linda Armstrong (Charlie) and many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Jackie.
