Terry Lee Jones, 55, of Norman, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at Norman Regional Hospital after an extended illness. A memorial service is scheduled 11 a.m. Monday at CrossPointe Church, 2601 24th Ave. SE in Norman.

Ms. Jones was born March 8, 1951, to Robert and Johnnie Jones. She graduated from Norman High School and attended East Central State University in Ada. She was employed by Children's Hospital, the Oklahoma Chapter of the Red Cross, the Norman Public School system, and most recently by The Transcript Press. She enjoyed cross stitching and made many gifts for family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Florence Jones; her maternal grandparents, John and Alice McCall; and her father, Robert Jones Jr.

Survivors include her mother, Johnnie Jones of the home; sisters Barbara King and husband John of Katy, Texas, Sharon Goff and husband Fred of Norman and Kathy Harlin and husband Joe of Norman; uncles J.T. Jones of Foster, K.C. Jones and wife Kay of Oklahoma City and Ralph Jones of Checotah; nieces Sara Lovett and Shelly Goff of Norman and Maegan King of Austin, Texas; nephews James Goff, Justin Hoelscher and Grant Hoelscher of Norman, and Andrew King and Jordan King of Katy; and cousins Rick Jones and family of Alameda, Calif., and Carol Jones and family of Oklahoma City.
