January 17, 1951 - January 9, 2012 Michele Sweatman passed away on Monday, January 9, 2012. To respect her wishes, the family has arranged a memorial service in her honor to be held at Mercer-Adams Chapel on Saturday, January 28 at 2:00pm. Michele was preceded in death by her parents, Phyllis and Richard Crisp. Her life will be celebrated by her survivors: son, Christopher Sweatman; sister, Cindy Naylor; brother, Richard Crisp II; niece, Maegan Gore; and nephew, Trey Crisp among other beloved family members. In addition to her family, she also leaves behind dear friends, Holly Million and Linda Jones, and her cherished pets Gracie, Kenya, Bella, Teagan and Kitty Kitty. During her time with us, Michele took great pride in every aspect of her only son Christophers life. No travel was too far to attend sporting events, visit him in college or whatever aspect she was able to be a part of. For over thirty years, she exuded passion in her social services career, prior to her recent retirement in late 2011. For as long as anyone can remember, she expressed her talents and creativity through a large variety of craft projects which she enjoyed taking on the road to be displayed in craft shows spanning several different cities. Over the past few years, she acquired a passion for raising and showing Wheaton Terriers. During this time, Michele attended multiple dog shows where she earned a well deserved reputation and honors among members of the community. Her genuine nature, kind spirit and bold personality will be remembered and missed by many family members and friends. |
