Lynne A. Rogers, 57, of Choctaw, formerly of Norman, died Friday, October 31, 2008 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Norman. Interment will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2008, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Muskogee.
Ms. Rogers was born on November 14, 1950 in Muskogee, to Don D. Rogers and Nancy L. (White) Hurd. She graduated from Norman High School and the University of Oklahoma, and worked for many years for the Hertz Corporation, where she became Manager, Automation Marketing.
Ms. Rogers was preceded in death by her father and by her brother, Dale E. Hurd. Survivors include her mother, Nancy Hurd of Broken Arrow; brother, Larry Rogers of Chesterfield, Missouri; life-long friend and sister, Marilyn Wolfe, her husband, Brian and son, Max, all of Norman: and her former sister-in-law, Judy Rivers. She will be deeply missed by all of her aunts, uncles and cousins, and the many friends she made through the years. Lynne always lightened the room with laughter, and never left a stranger.
