Funeral services for William "Bill" Madison Minnick, 80, Wayne, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Primrose Chapel with the Rev. George Martin officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Garden in Oklahoma city.

Mr. Minnick died Thursday, June 8.

He was born Oct. 6, 1908, to William Madison and Iva Minnick in Ames, Okla. He received his B.S. from Oklahoma State University and his master's degree from the University of Oklahoma. He taught in Watonga where he met his wife of 54 years, LaDonna Boughton.

He also taught in Albion, Okla., veterans training program and retired after 17 years at Norman's Central Junior High School. He was a member of the Oklahoma Retired Teachers Assocication and a former member of the Talihina (Okla.) Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife, LaDonna; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill D. and Marina Minnick of Rosedale and Deon and Lena Minncik of Midland, Texas; one grandson, two granddaughters; three sisters, Erma Bryant of Newcastle, Wanda Johnson of Mission, Texas and Mildred Steinbrook of Haywood, Colo.; one brother, F.R. Minnick of' Lawton; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father and one brother.

Bearers will be Dale Arnold, Sherrill Spears, Kevin Shobert, James Garling, Joe Merkle, Vel John Dimery and Dan Goad.
